St. Michael’s Acolyte Program

The acolytes of St. Michael’s Church serve at the altar on Sundays during the 8:00 and 10:00 worship services, as well as serving at special services during Holy Week and Christmas, at weddings, memorial services, baptisms, and other occasions as requested by the clergy.
Training sessions are held several times a year and two adult members of the parish serve as supporters and supervisors. The clergy is grateful for the dedicated service of both adult and young acolytes and their leaders.
The acolyte ministry is one of our most valuable and cherished ministries. Parents can support their sons and daughters by keeping track of their schedules and getting them to church at fifteen to twenty minutes before the service.
