Baptism, Communion, & Confirmation Classes

Please call the office or speak to a member of the clergy to enroll in preparation classes for any of these sacraments or for more information about the Episcopal Church’s teaching on Baptism, Communion or Confirmation. (BCP pp858-61)

Baptism Dates 2010 (may be scheduled at 8 am, 10 am, or 5 pm services)

• January 10 – Baptism of our Lord
• April 11 – Second Sunday of Easter
• May 23 – Day of Pentecost
• November 7 – All Saints’ Sunday

Children’s Communion Preparation Classes & Celebration 2010 (during the 10 am service)

• April 18 – Lesson: What we do in Church: Baptism & Worship
• April 25 – About the Sacrament of Eucharist
• May 2 – Participation in Holy Communion
• May 16 – Children’s Communion Sunday – Instructed Eucharist

Preparation Classes for Confirmation, Reception & Reaffirmation of Baptism 2010

• Youth Classes – 3:15 pm Monday Afternoons, Feb 7, 8, 18; Mar 1, 8, 22; Apr 12, 19; May 10, 17
• Adult Classes – 11:30 a.m. Sunday mornings, Feb 7,21, 28; Mar 7,14,21; Apr 11,18, 25; May 9, 16
• May 15 – Youth & Adult Confirmation Retreat Day
• May 23 at 5 pm – Bishop’s Visitation: Confirmations, Receptions & Reaffirmations of Baptism
