St. Michael's Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
Choral music is an integral part of Episcopal identity: Choral music has a ancient and honored role in Anglican liturgical tradition. Beginning with the strains of the prelude, the congregational singing, and the blended voices of the choir, music lifts the worshiper into the presence of God. St. Michael’s Chancel Choir is directed by Constance Weichert, accompanied by organ and/or piano by Dr. John Cozza. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 pm from mid-September through mid-June. They prepare special music for the holy seasons of Lent, Easter, and Christmas, as well as occasional concerts and programs. Each fall they take a retreat weekend for fellowship and extended music rehearsal.

Sunday School Music Program
Children in pre-school through sixth grades begin their Sunday mornings singing joyfully to the Lord. They have the opportunity once a month to present or lead the congregation in a song on Family Worship Sunday (generally the fourth Sunday of the month). Kati Braak, Dave Decker, and Christopher Mackey direct and encourage these children.
