Summer Worship

Summer Is A Great Time To Try New Things…

Two Worship Options for 10 a.m. Most Sunday Mornings, Beginning June 26th

Summer_Schedule-CSummer is a great time to try new things, and this summer we are offering a choice of two ways to Grow in God at St. Michael’s Church during our 10 am worship service.

Option One: Attend our usual 10 am Sunday Eucharist, remaining in the Church throughout the service. Although our Chancel Choir takes summer break, worshippers will enjoy familiar hymns, scripture readings, and good preaching during The Liturgy of the Word. The service concludes with the usual Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Option Two: Attend an alternative worship format during The Liturgy of the Word, led most of the time by a member of the clergy. For worshippers choosing this option, the first part of the service will take place in the Friendship Center, and will include recorded worship music, a reading from Holy Scripture, followed by group reflection and simple prayer. Those participating in this option, along with the children in Sunday Bible Program, will enter the Church at “The Peace.” The service then concludes with everyone sharing in the Liturgy of the Eucharist as usual.

We hope that everyone who attends will enjoy a little of each option, varying their choices throughout the summer and growing in faith, hope, and love.

Blessings,
Pastor Mary+
